Experience
I benefited a lot from the first semester of typography course, I learned how to think as a designer, and how to balance visual elements, typography is a very delicate subject, it has very rigorous theories and rules, but also contains some subjective thinking, such as kerning indentation can not be exactly the same, to adjust them subjectively according to visual effects.Typography is a completely new field for me, and the two tutors have helped me a lot this semester. I have mastered some of the skills to use.
Observations
Typography has improved my observation skills, allowing me to be more sensitive to the subtle differences between shapes and distances. In the process of researching, I also observed the design concepts of many different designers and artists.
Findings
Studying typography this semester made me realize that design is everywhere, and any subtle change has its own meaning. This further strengthened my motivation to study in a design school.
